Matt: This is a tough one. I'd love to see Zooey Deschanel take it, but I think it will probably go to Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Melissa McCarthy won it last year, but I think that probably had more to do with Bridesmaids than it did Mike & Molly. I'd also love to see Amy Poehler win, but for some stupid reason the Emmy's have a thing out for Parks & Rec.
Marg: I love so many of the women on this list, but feel strongly that this is Amy Poehler's year - she is in the public eye right now for things unrelated to her amazing show, but has remained utterly graceful and gracious throughout. The past season of that amazing show was a work of art, and the Leslie Knope journey therein should be rewarded!

Matt: I don't watch any of these shows. So I'll say Jim Parsons, just because he's won it in the past.
Marg: I love me some Alec Baldwin, and he could take home the prize because 30 Rock is going into it's short final season so it will likely be the last opportunity to reward his outstanding work on that show. He doesn't fully deserve it for this past season though, which was uneven at best. Talent-wise, I think Louis C.K. should be the winner - but I worry that the Emmy voters will continue to be perverse by giving it to Jon Cryer yet again.

Marg: It SHOULD go to Chris McKenna for Community - Remedial Chaos Theory is no lie, one of the most ingenious pieces of television I have ever seen. It should be studied in classes. BUT, maybe it will go to Lena Dunham? The pilot isn't the best episode of the season, but there was a lot of buzz there. And of course, I'd be happy for each of the Parks & Rec episodes to win - such a good season.

Matt: Apparently Homeland is amazing, but the only one I've seen is Downton so it gets my pick.
Marg: I am split between all three of the Mad Men nominees: The Other Woman is... deeply uncomfortable, Commissions and Fees is deepy sad (yet, the scene in the car was so... funny), and Far Away Places is structurally devine and has the sherbert scene, which was amazing.
