Matthew: I Finally Saw The Big Screen Boobies!

When Titanic first came out back in 1997, I was forbidden to see it because of the infamous boob scene. I'm still pretty bitter about this because all of my friends got to go see it, and it was the biggest movie of all time!! And because of some stupid boobs I was going to miss out on the experience of seeing it on the big screen. Not fair! ... jeeze.

Eventually I did see the movie, but I had to promise that I would turn my head away when the boob scene came on- and like a good little boy I did... that time anyway. I bought the movie on VHS and watched it like 100 times, I saw the boobs. But still, life was unfair because I never got to see the boobs on the big screen! That is until this past weekend.

Titanic 3D sailed into theatres (worst line ever) this past week and I paid the high baller 3D price of $15.99 to go see it. Seeing it 15 years later and 15 years older I can now understand why so many critics thought the movie was over the top cheese, it kind of is. BUT, it's still awesome, if anything because of the nostalgia.

As far as the 3D element is concerned, it was kind of nonexistent. Nothing really jumped out at you, it added some dimension, I just don't think it was a third dimension.

Should you go see Titanic 3D? - Yes, but only if you have the spare cash to shell out and want a nice trip down memory lane. Otherwise, bust out the VCR and double VHS set, pop some popcorn and chill on the couch.
