About Us

The Skinny Chai: Friends for over half a decade, Marg and Matt met through their University's Theatre Program, bonding while performing a scene as a married couple where Matt had to frantically eat a can of peaches and Marg wore a chef's hat. A few blissful and wild years spent chatting over tea later, they are now separated by 1350 kilometers (give or take) - through this tragedy, they have decided to take their friend-dates online with The Skinny Chai! Marg Craig is a Canadian writer that you haven't heard of before. She knows a lot about television, classic era movie stars, vintage fashion, and the latest foods that are going to poison us all. Marg never wears pants, bakes in heels while listening to early 60s soul music, and values a sense of humour above most things.

Matthew is a theater director who has a resume of tiny proportions. He spends a lot of his spare time playing with his beloved cat Stevie and day dreaming. Often you can find him in an imaginary world that he has created where the weather is always perfect for a light jacket or sweater, and he is a multimillionaire.
